• 12/1/2016 Gov. Malloy Directs State Flags to Half-Staff in Honor of State Representative Betty Boukus

  (HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that he is directing the flag of the State of Connecticut to fly at half-staff in honor of State Representative Betty Boukus (D-New Britain, Plainville), who passed away early this morning. State flags should be lowered beginning immediately until sunset on the date of interment, which has not yet been determined.

  (Hartford, CT) – Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman, Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Commissioner Sean M. Connolly, and Major General Thaddeus Martin, Adjutant General of the Connecticut National Guard, today inducted ten veterans into the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame.   (Hartford, Conn.) - Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman, Chair of the Board of Access Health CT (AHCT) and AHCT CEO Jim Wadleigh announced today that the deadline for enrolling in healthcare coverage that begins on January 1, 2017 has been moved from tonight at midnight to Saturday, December 17, 2016 at midnight.

• 5/27/2015 Lt. Gov. Wyman: Access Health CT Becomes First Exchange in Nation to Adopt Self-Sustaining Budget

  Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman, Chair of the Board of Directors of Access Health CT (AHCT), and AHCT CEO Jim Wadleigh announced that next year Connecticut will have the first self-sustaining state healthcare exchange in the country. Today, at their monthly meeting, the AHCT Board adopted an operations budget that relies exclusively on revenue generated by the organization.
