Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced the state will support the expansion plans of CareCentrix, a leading provider of home health benefits management services. As the latest "First Five" company, the project will save more than 200 existing jobs and add nearly 300 new positions by 2017.

Gov. Malloy and Lt. Gov. Wyman Announce Impact of Graham-Cassidy Healthcare Bill on Connecticut
Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman today announced that according to a new analysis of the impact on Connecticut of the Graham-Cassidy bill – the latest version of Trumpcare – healthcare coverage for tens-of-thousands of the state’s residents could be threatened. Ultimately, as much as $2.2 billion in annual costs would be added to the state at full implementation in 2026, with total costs projected to reach almost $7 billion through fiscal year 2026.

Gov. Malloy: Annual FBI Crime Data Shows Connecticut Saw Largest Decline Of Violent Crime In Nation Over Last Four Years
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today highlighted the release of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) annual state-by-state crime report for the 2016 calendar year, which shows that crime rates continue to decline in Connecticut, which has had the largest reduction in violent crime of any state in the nation over the last four years.

Governor Nancy Wyman today announced that Anthem and ConnectiCare Benefits, Inc. have committed to participate in Connecticut’s health insurance exchange, Access Health CT, for 2018. Approximately 100,000 Connecticut residents purchase coverage through Access Health CT.
